GO METS!

Well as I told you in my first post I am a Mets fan. Now i know you are thinking why in the world do you like the Mets? They suck! Well I don't really care how you feel about them I am still going to like them. I started liking the Mets when i was in about the 6th grade. The reason i started was simple i liked some of there players and started following them. The two players i liked watching and were becoming my favorite players were David Wright and Jose Reyes. Wright is a great third basemen and isnt afraid to lay his body on the line to make a play, and he is great at the plate! Then there is Jose Reyes I like Reyes because he brings so much to a team. He has speed, a good arm, makes great defensive plays, great at the dish, and can change the outcome of a game in a heart beat! He is one of the most electric players in the game today. And would be valuable to any team. Now just because I started liking the Mets because of these two players doesnt mean if they leave i will stop cheering for them cause i wont. They are my team which is tough since I live in Georgia and the Mets are in the same division as the Braves. But i have faith and i wont let my team down. This season might be pretty much over for them, but i have faith the Mets will be at the top again some day!

Pryor a good choice?

One of the new topics in sports this week came after Mondays supplemental draft, when the Oakland Raiders used there 3rd pick in next years draft to pick up former Ohio State Quarterback Terrelle Pryor. Now Pryor decided to enter the draft after he received a 5 game suspension to start the beginning of the college season for receiving improper benefits. Now Pryor is a great athlete don't get me wrong but an NFL Quarterback he is not! I just don't see him being about to develope the tools that a qb at the NFL needs to be successful. I mean in my opinion in college football if you can throw the ball a little bit, are able to get weapons around you, and RUN you  will be a good COLLEGE football player but you will not have success in the NFL. Now i know a lot of people want to point to Micheal Vick and say well that could be him one day. Yes, you are right but Micheal Vick is a veteran qb that has put a lot of hours into becoming a great qb. He has fixed his accracy and has learned to stay in the pocket instead of looking for a way to run and make a play he is now staying as long as he can to find someone open down field before running, something Pryor will have to learn but not right away. I just believe that this was a wasted pick because now the Raiders will not have a second third or forth round pick in the draft when we all know they need as many as they can get!

The Beginning!

Hey my name is Tyler, and i am starting a blog about nothing but sports! Now i will try to report on all sports, but i will probably be a little bias towards some of my favorite teams like the San Diego Chargers, New York Mets, Denver Nuggets, and Georgia Bulldogs. I will blog about all the big news though!
